If you are already a certified backflow tester, you may register for a one-day review. This will satisfy your requirement of 5 hours of continuing education for renewal.

The lecture session of this seminar will cover:
Diagnostics, device repair, and tools needed. Includes repair manuals and guides.
System hydraulics and the effect of a backflow prevention assembly (water hammer, thermal expansion, and pressure fluctuations)
Advanced trouble shooting techniques
Review USC test procedures
The Lab portion of this class demonstrates:
Field checking the calibration of test kits
USC field test procedures on the RPZ, DC and PVB
Hands on practice with working assemblies and simulated failures
Testing equipment will be available, however, if you have your own equipment, please bring it with you.
